Helping pets pass peacefully has always been important to me. After graduating from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, I worked for several years in a very busy veterinary practice where we saw all kinds of animals. Euthanasia was always performed in the clinic. Sometimes the caregiver couldn’t be present. It became my mission to help this important part of life go smoother, and I began offering house calls for pets at the end of their life. Within a short time, we opened a mobile house call practice for pets at all stages of their lives. This clinic quickly grew and before we knew it, we had been helping pets get veterinary care at home for more than 25 years. In 2023 I completed additional course work to become certified in hospice and palliative care through the IAAHPC and the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy. Peaceful Pet Home Euthanasia is dedicated solely to home euthanasia. Our mission is to help cats and dogs who are at the end of their lives pass away as peacefully as possible, in the comfort of their homes.
